Visibility Shouldn’t Be About Showing Up More.
It Should Be About Showing Up With Intention.
Speaking & Workshops with Karianne Munstedt
Karianne Munstedt is a Visibility Strategist, speaker, and founder and CEO of Strategic Impact Partners. She helps established companies rethink what visibility really means and make sure the ways they’re showing up are actually helping people understand who they are, what they do, and why they matter.
Through engaging keynotes, workshops, and conversations, Karianne challenges audiences to move beyond the idea that visibility simply means more marketing, more content, or being everywhere.
Instead, she teaches businesses and leaders to think strategically about where they’re showing up, what they’re communicating, and whether their visibility reflects the business they’ve actually built.
Speaking Topics
The Visibility Gap: When Your Business Outgrows Its Visibility
Your company has grown. Your expertise has deepened. Your services may have expanded. Your team, clients, reputation, and impact may look completely different than they did a few years ago.
But has your visibility kept up?
Many established companies reach a point where the business they’ve built is far more sophisticated than what people understand from the outside. Their website, LinkedIn presence, networking, speaking, PR, photography, community involvement, and other visibility investments may all be working, but they aren’t necessarily communicating the reality of the company today.
That’s the Visibility Gap.
In this talk, Karianne helps audiences identify where that gap occurs, why it matters, and how intentional visibility can close the distance between the exceptional business you’ve built and what people understand about it.
Audiences will learn:
- How to recognize when a business has outgrown its visibility
- Why growth and evolution can create a disconnect between reality and perception
- How disconnected visibility can create confusion even when individual efforts are successful
- Why internal clarity is essential to external visibility
- How aligned visibility moves people from Recognition → Clarity → Trust → Choice
Your Visibility Is Bigger Than Your Marketing
Ask most companies who’s responsible for their visibility, and they’ll probably point to marketing.
But marketing is only one part of the picture.
Your website communicates something. So does your leadership team. Your LinkedIn presence, PR, networking, speaking, photography, sponsorships, community involvement, reviews, physical space, events, and dozens of other investments are all shaping what people understand about your company.
That’s visibility.
Visibility is every asset your company intentionally invests in to communicate and demonstrate who it is, what it does, and why it matters.
In this talk, Karianne introduces audiences to the larger visibility ecosystem and challenges companies to stop managing visibility as a collection of disconnected activities and start viewing it as a connected business system.
Audiences will learn:
- The difference between marketing and visibility
- How many seemingly unrelated business investments are actually visibility assets
- Why visibility becomes fragmented as companies grow
- How different departments, vendors, leaders, and platforms can unintentionally communicate different messages
- Why every visibility asset should strengthen the same core message
- How to begin thinking about visibility as a connected system rather than a collection of individual activities
Stop Showing Up Everywhere: Start Showing Up Strategically
Businesses have been told for years that the answer to visibility is more.
Post more. Network more. Create more content. Attend more events. Join more organizations. Sponsor more. Speak more. Be on more platforms.
But more visibility isn’t necessarily better visibility.
Strategic visibility starts with different questions: Where do we actually need to be visible? Who needs to understand us? What do they need to understand? What will help them trust us? And which of our visibility investments are actually helping us reach our business goals?
In this talk, Karianne gives audiences permission to stop chasing visibility for visibility’s sake and start making intentional choices about where and how their companies show up.
Audiences will learn:
- Why being everywhere is not a visibility strategy
- How to connect visibility decisions to actual business goals
- How to evaluate whether existing visibility investments are earning their place
- When to Strengthen, Align, Leverage, Explore, or Reduce & Redirect an existing visibility investment
- Why doing less, more intentionally, can create greater impact
- How to identify where their time, money, and attention should go next
Sometimes the smartest visibility strategy is deciding where you’re going to stop showing up.
A Speaker Who Makes the Room Part of the Conversation
Karianne doesn’t believe in delivering the exact same presentation to every audience.
Before every engagement, she takes the time to understand the organization, the people in the room, and what matters most to them. Her speaking style combines education, real-world examples, personal perspective, and conversation to create an experience that feels relevant rather than rehearsed.
Whether she’s delivering a keynote, facilitating a workshop, or leading an interactive discussion, her goal is the same: give people a new way to think about something they’ve been looking at for years and practical ideas they can begin using immediately.
